In februari 2003 is de laatste Zwitserse inspectie uitgevoerd. Daarna heeft de weduwe van deze eigenaar de Jaguar verkocht aan een Nederlandse Jaguar liefhebber. Hij heeft de XJ uitstekend laten onderhouden bij een bevriend garagebedrijf en er in 17 jaar slechts 5.178 km mee gereden. In 2020 is de auto verkocht aan deze garage. Zij hebben een uitgebreide onderhoudsbeurt uitgevoerd inclusief alle vloeistoffen. Vervangen zijn: 2x een nieuwe benzinepomp, brandstoftank, alle slangen, nieuwe remmen rondom, remslangen, handrem, koppelings-cylinders, SU revisie, uitlaat voorste deel, nieuwe ontsteking, accu, banden, etc. Het stuurhuis is gereviseerd en de auto is uitgelijnd. Voor meer dan € 3.100.- aan onderdelen.

Mede dankzij de technische staat en de perfect werkende climate control is de auto geschikt voor lange reizen. Ook is er een afstandbediening toegevoegd aan de centrale vergrendeling. In het verleden is de auto een keer overgespoten in zijn originele kleur Silver Grey en het lakwerk ziet er nog steeds prachtig uit. Ook het chroom is mooi met de normale gebruikssporen. Het prachtige interieur is origineel gelaten en dat ziet er ongelooflijk mooi uit, bijna als nieuw! Alles doet het: de interieurverlichting, de electrische ramen en zelfs het klokje loopt nog. De iconische matching numbers 6 in lijn loopt zijdezacht, de oliedruk is uitstekend en de motortemperatuur blijft gezond.

Thanks to the original maintenance booklets and the Swiss “Abgas-Wartungsdokument” the mileage is apparent . On 27 February 2003, the last Swiss inspection was carried out, and after that, the widow of the Swiss owner sold the Jaguar to a Dutch doctor.
